Hotel Esplanada
Booking + brand site for one of Dili's longest-running hotels — oceanfront on Avenida de Portugal, operating since 1972. Paired with Rezerva PMS for live inventory, with proper Hotel + Restaurant schema, and shipped as the canonical example of the Rezerva-powered hotel-website SKU.

The opportunity
Independent hotels in Timor-Leste typically have one of two options: a 2010-vintage Wix site that ignores Booking.com entirely, or a sprawling Booking.com listing they don't control. Neither builds the brand, and neither captures the direct booking margin that a working hotel needs to stay independent. Hotel Esplanada wanted a third path: a real direct-booking website, on their own domain, with their own brand, paired to inventory they actually own.

Real PMS pairing
Rooms, rates, and availability are managed in Rezerva PMS — not duplicated in the website CMS. Every booking flows back into the PMS automatically.
Hotel + Restaurant schema
JSON-LD Hotel entity with real address, geo, aggregateRating, amenityFeature, priceRange. Restaurant linked via containedInPlace for the on-site restaurant.
Multi-language ready
English-primary today, infrastructure ready for Tetun + Portuguese when the hotel wants them. Booking confirmations already emit in the guest’s language preference.

The pattern this proves
Hotel Esplanada is the canonical example of a repeatable SKU: a free, Rezerva-powered hotel website paired with the free Rezerva PMS, with the hotel keeping 100% of direct-booking margin. The hotel website carries an honest Powered by Rezerva · Built by OniT footer attribution — same posture as a Shopify or Webflow credit, not a link farm — and the inventory feeds the wider Rezerva marketplace at rezerva.tl when the hotel opts in.
What's next
The language rollout already outgrew the plan: the site now ships in five languages (English, Portuguese, Tetun, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia) with full hreflang clusters, plus an editorial guide to hotels in Dili — neighbourhoods, price bands and booking advice, the kind of content most TL hotel sites never ship. Still ahead: property-specific Atauro / Maubisse sister-site templates for hotels in the same family, and a Rezerva TV pilot — the Android TV guest-room kiosk that Hotel Esplanada is among the first properties to trial.
