Wong Alliance
A five-language website for a law firm that practises in two legal systems — a Singapore LLP established in practice since 1986 and a Timor-Leste Lda in Dili since 2010. Wix replaced with Next.js 16 on the firm's own domain, launched indexable with its search infrastructure live the same day.

The brief
Wong Alliance advises investors moving between common-law Singapore and civil-law Timor-Leste — cross-border work that demands jurisdictional precision and linguistic fluency. Its website was a Wix template that offered neither: template placeholder copy, one language, and no way to express the firm's actual structure. The firm needed a site as careful as its practice, in the languages its clients actually read.
What we shipped
Five languages, all real
English, Portuguese, Tetun, Bahasa Indonesia and Simplified Chinese — every locale fully translated before it was allowed into the index. An AST-based CI check fails the build if a ready language is missing a single string.
Two entities, modelled honestly
The Singapore LLP and the Timor-Leste Lda are affiliated but legally separate. The JSON-LD ships them as sibling LegalService entities under one Organization — the legal reality, not a branding shortcut.
Hardened by default
100/100 security headers: strict CSP, HSTS preload, frame denial. Zero third-party scripts and no client-side analytics — a law firm’s site should not leak its visitors.
Office-aware enquiries
The contact form routes each enquiry to the right office’s inbox with rate limiting and a honeypot — no CRM, no vendor lock-in, just mail where the lawyers already work.
The build is 135 prerendered pages — 27 per language — covering fourteen practice areas across the two offices, lawyer profiles, and an editorial register that survived translation into all five languages. The Tetun is INL orthography with a maintained term ledger, not machine output pasted into a template. Every page ships full hreflang clusters, per-locale metadata, and breadcrumb + LegalService + Person structured data.
Design restraint was a requirement, not a style: no stock photography, no gavels, square corners, a single accent colour, and the firm's own words throughout. The result is light — a 112 KB document, a 19 KB mobile hero, ~110 ms TTFB — because the whole argument of the site is that clarity travels fast.
Launch day
The site cut over to www.wongalliance.com on 19 August 2026 and was treated like production from hour one: a full SEO audit the same morning (88/100, no indexing blockers), the findings fixed and deployed the same day, the domain verified in Google Search Console headlessly and the 135-URL sitemap submitted — before Google had ever crawled the domain. Day-zero infrastructure, not launch-week cleanup.
